Esther Hayut

Esther Hayut (born October 16, 1953) is an associate justice in the Supreme Court of Israel.
==Early life==
Hayut (nee: Avni) was born in Herzliya and grew up in Eilat. After graduating in 1971, she enlisted the IDF where she served in the military music band of the central command. After her release from the army, Hayut started attending Law school at the Tel Aviv University, graduating in 1977. After completing Law school Hayut interned at the law firm of Hayim Tzadok, former Israeli Minister of Justice, where she stayed to work as an associate lawyer, between 1977-1985. After leaving the firm, Hayut opened an independent office together with her spouse, specializing in Commercial and Tort law.
